Welcome to the Illinois Board of Examiners online system. Using this system you can:

• search for Illinois Certified Public Accountants using the Public Certification Search link shown below. No user account log on required.
• submit an application to take the CPA examination as an Illinois candidate. Requires online account.
• submit an application for an Illinois CPA certificate based on reciprocity, passing IQEX examination score, or transfer of examination credit from another jurisdiction. Requires online account.
• look up your examination score. Requires online account.
• as an Illinois CPA, review and update your own record. Requires online account.

If you have ever submitted an application or evaluation request at any point in time, no matter how long the timeframe, an online account has already been established for you. DO NOT create a new account.
Review the Returning Candidate section in order to obtain your account information via the Online Access form.

1. For New Applicants - Click on the "Create Your Online Account" link shown below and follow the instructions.

2. For Current Applicants - Your User ID is the full e-mail address you provided on your credential evaluation. Enter your password to gain access to your account. If you are still unable to access your account, review the Returning Candidate section in order to obtain your account information via the Online Access form.*

3. Pre-Evaluation Applicants - Candidates who have previously submitted a Pre-Evaluation application and are wishing to submit a Domestic Credentials Evaluation should have received a temporary ID and Password via e-mail. If not, please review the Returning Candidate in order to obtain your account information via the Online Access form.
